Madeleine Cannon

Sr. Project Engineer II

Market: DMV
Region: Northeast

Education:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder (Sko Buffs!)

Background:
I started with Project Farma summer of 2022, soon after I had graduated college. In this time, I have supported multiple sites to become GMP operational. My work has included primarily supporting CQV efforts, Computerized System Validation, Engineering Drawing Management System Implementation and Process Validation, while also being able to gain exposure to asset management, QC test methods, and EMPQ

What excites you about being a mentor?
Through my time with Project Farma, I have been lucky enough to receive impactful mentorship that has helped me shape my career plan and goals. I am excited to now step into the role of mentor to work with other Team Members and celebrate their successes and help them plan for their futures as well

What are you looking for in a mentee?
I am looking for my mentee to be a lifelong learner with dedication to seek out the challenging opportunities. I know the most growth has come in my career when I have asked for feedback and for support in gaining experience for my less developed skill sets. Therefore, I would want my mentee to be thinking about where they want to go in their career, and reflecting on what could they be working on in the day to day to be closer to their goals.

Hobbies/Fun Facts:
I was born and raised in Colorado prior to moving out to the DMV once I graduated college and I got married last December! In my free time I play in different rec sports leagues in my area, particularly slow pitch softball and volleyball. I also enjoy weekend trips to the beach or hiking in the mountains.
