Education:
B.S in Biomedical Engineering and Minor in Dance from the University of Florida (Go Gators!!)
Background:
I moved from FL to NC 4 years ago to work at Novartis Gene Therapies (formerly AveXis) as a Bioprocess Engineer. I supported the Upstream Manufacturing team (night shift) for a couple years before joining Project Farma in July of 2022. For my first project, I supported the CQV work for Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drug Company in Dallas, TX. Currently, I am settled in RTP supporting the Amgen project in Holly Springs, NC and leading the Analytical Workstream (QC, IPT, and PD Lab Equipment). I have also worked with several of the Process and Utility systems, through technical document drafting and review, as well as execution at FATs.
What excites you about being a mentor?
Although my mentors are no longer with the company, they were pivotal in my transition into the CQV space, and I would love to give back the same way they did for me.
What are you looking for in a mentee?
Ask questions, be curious. There’s so much insight to gain from others at PF, so be willing to embrace that and be motivated to learn!
Hobbies/Fun Facts:
I have a dog named Kari, who is my “Foster Fail” that I adopted in college. In my free time, I love Pilates, traveling, visiting local bars/breweries in Raleigh, and walking the NC greenways.
