Background:
I have over 13 years of experience in capital projects, operational strategy and project execution in the Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Radioligand, Gene and Cell Therapy Industry. I have led diverse, cross-functional teams of up to 25 throughout the entire project lifecycle including project initiation/funding requests, business case development, program roll-out, conceptual design, basis of design, detailed design, construction, commissioning and qualification, validation, project close-out/purchase order closure. As a PF Leader, I oversee the West Coast as the Regional Lead, speak on many panels, and participate in technical articles.

What excites you about being a mentor?
I find great motivation in the desire to contribute professionally to others. I remember the guidance and support I received in my own career, and I want to offer the same assistance to others who are just starting out or looking to advance. Mentorship allows me to foster strong, meaningful connections. I value the lasting relationships I form with my mentees, which enrich me both professionally and personally. I see the mentoring process as a two-way street. While I guide my mentees, I also learn new perspectives, ideas, and skills from them, keeping me engaged and continuously growing.

What are you looking for in a mentee?
When looking for a mentee, I seek the following qualities: 1. Motivation and Drive: I value a mentee who is enthusiastic and committed to their personal and professional growth. A strong desire to learn and improve is essential. 2. Open-mindedness: It’s important for a mentee to be open to new ideas, feedback, and constructive criticism. This willingness to consider different perspectives and approaches facilitates growth. 3. Proactive Attitude: I appreciate a mentee who takes initiative and is proactive in seeking opportunities for learning and development. This includes setting goals, asking questions, and actively participating in the mentorship process. 4. Communication Skills: Effective communication is key to a successful mentoring relationship. A mentee should be able to articulate their goals, challenges, and progress clearly. 5. Reliability and Commitment: Consistency and reliability are important traits. A mentee should be committed to the mentoring relationship, showing up prepared for meetings and following through on agreed-upon actions. 6. Self-awareness: A mentee who understands their strengths and areas for improvement is better positioned to benefit from mentorship. This self-awareness helps in setting realistic goals and tracking progress. 7. Hobbies/Fun Facts:
Super friends & family oriented. I love reading fantasy or crime books. Enjoy going on trips of any kind when I can. Really interested to explore different countries (EU and Asia are at the top of my list- only been to UK & France, but A LOT or Caribbean Beach Destinations) Love a good patio in the summertime!
